How Do I Completely Restore A Dell Computer?
My friend has a Dell computer that is three years old, and I’m sure it has Windows XP. It continues to give a large variety of error messages and cannot properly connect to the internet. It basically freezes up. The local cable rep checked the line and modem and they are fine. Since there is nothing of value stored on the computer (like tax documents etc), my thinking is to just restore the thing to original factory settings, and if that doesn’t work to take it to a shop. My friend has no set of recovery disks. I have done this with my HP computer, but that is because I downloaded a set of recovery disks from the HP website. I looked at the Dell site and can’t see how to do something similar. So how can I restore my friend’s computer to original factory settings, or where can I go to find out how to do this? The model is DMC. There are several disks that have things such as software settings, etc. but nothing that clearly states recovery disks. Thank you in advance!

How To Recover Deleted Jpeg Files From A Windows 98 Machine?
Hi, I am trying to recover jpeg files (deleted from recycle bin) from my friends Windows 98 machine. I have a couple of questions about it though:
1. What is the absolute best file deletion software around, preferably free but if it costs then so be it.
2. As I understand it if I load the software on to the Windows 98 machine it may well overwrite the files I am trying to recover. And the NTFS external harddrive I have is not compatible with Win98 so how can I run the recovery program safely?

Why Is Avg Free The Only Antivirus To Detect I-worm/vb.gg?
I searched [Google, hotbot, webcrawl] the net for I-WORM/VB.GG. Guess what? The Grisoft site is the ONLY one with an answer. Symantec and McAfee dont even know about this virus / spyware. How come? The remove method was also crazy - download a bunch of free software -antispyware, botware etc. Does’nt this sound fishy? AVG says its forum is for Registered Users only, not for free users. No issues. I want to know how come no other antivirus company has posted / detected this virus.
