I took some photos in June 2007 (graduation) &late October/early November.I did not print any of the graduation but I printed a few of the October/November photos.I ran out of space & my daughter sent me 500GB of external memory.A relative showed me how to move the photos from one drive to another.also how to move a batch to speed up everything.I had over 50,000 photos so I decided to move them in batches. I lost 669 of them. Well, a friend is returning to her country and wants to take some of the photographs I have of her.I put some of them in a file on the desktop but when I opened it the file was empty.I have tried to find photos with her and I have a few; but there are more- really good ones. How can I get my system to go back to June 2007 so that I can find the photo? I have tried different recover programs. They are set up so that the photos are recovered but you cannot get them until you buy their software. My credit card is from a foreign bank & does not match the US address..

i need EITHER of the following:
1. recovery for Sandisk 1gb memory card
2. recovery for Macbook trash
i deleted some videos i recorded around new year’s.
problem is, i also just came back from a trip and took over 500 pictures from that trip, which i’ve already uploaded into my macbook and consequently deleted from my camera.
i don’t need to recover these new pictures, but would it hinder the photorecovery program from retrieving the videos that were taken prior to the ones taken on this trip?
is there a limit to how far back the photorecovery program can recover?
please please try to help.
THANKS SO MUCH.

So I purchased a 4GB Sony Memory Stick PRO Duo by MagicGate on eBay recently. Everything was going fine without a problem, however recently I was no longer able to view pictures that were taken. I had taken about 60 pics, and I could see the first 30, but after that everything was inaccessible. Instead, the screen would be blue and the words file error would show up. I know through trying the card in other cameras, that the problem lies with the card. I also did some research and I now believe I may have purchased a fake card. My question is if there is any way for me to recover the photos that are labeled file error. I have downloaded my photo recovery, as well as another program but the first doesn’t seem to find the files, and the other doesn’t have a preview of the files. I also use a mac. Does anyone know of a program that would work to recover my pics?

I was shooting some shots onto my SD card, was able to view them, and edit them, but now that I’m home, the pictures seem to have disappeared. I know the photos are still there because the memory has been used up, but nothing seems to be able to view or recover those photos. Is there any good (free) software I can download (preferrably for my Mac) so that I can recover these files? Thanks in advance.
