What Is A Good Video Editting Software Where You Can Add Special Effects?

I want a good easy FREE program that will let me edit my videos and add in cool effects like fireballs and other things like that. If anyone knows this I’d like something like Particle Illusion 3 but something that is easer to use and doesnt mess p as much.
