The best example i can think of would be how Shakespeare incorporated a black muslim into one of his plays. this was in “Othello”.

Julius Caesar: Ancient Greece and the (real) assassination of Caesar
Othello: The Moors
Hamlet: Based in Denmark
Macbeth: Based in Scotland and the (true) story of Macbeth
