My Software Is Compatable To Windows Xp And Update Shud Not Be Made, But Unknowingly I Have Updated And My ?

software in not working now. Is there any option to reset the update so that we may do not need to format and again reinstall? I am unable to run certain softwares and when checked the technicians doubt the incompatibility of the software to the latest updates of Windows XP.

Yes. System restore should revert your system back to pre-installation condition. The succes of this however depends on how long ago your last restore point was created and if the system was stable at the time.
Good practice is to create a system restore point manually before every install as well as at least once per week on a stable system.
Something in your question does not make sense though… Did you update Windows or your software? If the software, was updated, did you use an XP update or Vista? If the correct update was used it is not suppose to cause any problems. I can’t remember ever coming across a problem like that. Anyway, funny stuff do happen.
    Hope this helped.
    Happy computing :)

Try Doing a System Restore . It will undo most of the changes made by the new updates installed .
