Where Can I Download Free Software To Make My Own Podcast?

I listen to podcasts time to time, ALL THE TIME! and i love listening to them i really do! but i would love to make my own, but need software to do so but cant really pay, i need somthing where i can play music in them in the back ground and then turn the volume up when i introduce the song and if you get what i meann ! >?< Please help me… =]

This may not be exactly what you’re looking for, but I use it to make podcasts to myself and it’s super easy and free. YAKiToMe! (http://www.yakitome.com). It’s a website so there’s no software to download and install.
