I just updated my iPod with the latest software.. stupid idea i realised after, because now i can’t use my ipod without installing the latest iTunes. And i can’t install anything because i don’t have the administrator’s password. There is no way i can get that password, either. So any ideas on how i can get my iPod to work without re-installing windows? Or to get rid of the password? thanks.

try logging into safe mode and try this
restart computer when its booting up press f8 key before the windows screen comes up you will be given an option screen choose safe mode
when it comes to the screen to choose the account choose administrator usually it will allow you into that account its a flaw in windows
if that does not work look up a program called proactive system password recovery.. im not shure it will work under account restrictions though I know how to get the password through another computer though… YES LEGALLY
