    Download Mozilla Firefox web browser if you do not already have it:http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
    The best Mozilla Firefox plug-in for downloading video and audio from sites like YouTube and MySpace is Download Helper, the other ones out there are not as good as this one;
    Download Helper:https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox…
    To watch FLV files:http://www.download.com/FLV-Player/3000-…
    And you can try keepvid.com for downloading videos only.

    Another site you can try is http://youtubex.com
    Sometimes one site doesn’t do the trick and you have to find a few of them. One issue with some of the sites though, is that they’ll download the file as a flash video (.flv) and unless you can read flash files they’re no use to you.
    If you’re looking for conversion software and you have a mac, one of the best is Visual Hub.
    You can also download podtube with a mac (free) and it will convert the files to a quicktime file you can play.
    Good luck!

  4. no software is needed..better option is http://www.keepvid.com

    1. Use UltraGet (http://www.ultraget.com) to download videos from YouTube. I scanned it for any viruses or spywares and my programs found it clean.
    2. In ‘Import Video’ from the menu on top, just copy & paste the URLs into the box.
    3.If the box disappears just click a folder and it will appear again.
    4. Click import video also on the menu on top. Then it will start downloading.
    5. Use a video converter to convert it to a file that you can watch on your computer.
