How Do You Change Your Main Search Engine On Internet Explorer?

I have Internet Explorer and I think it is Internet Explorer 6. I downloaded this thing and it came along with the search engine Fast Browser Search which I do not want. How to I change this to be google.

    First, go to control panel and look for all things associated with the name of the file/program/whatever you downloaded. If there is any kind of toolbar with the name of what you downloaded then uninstall it.
    Second, in your internet explorer at the top click the tools menu, click options. The window that pops up has a place to enter your own home page where can enter http://www.google.com and click ok.
    Google will now be your homepage.
