I would learn English, for a start it’s a global language and quite possibly nearly everyone understands it, even fluent taiwanese .

English is perhaps the most elastic and adaptable of all languages and because it’s already spoken in so many different countries, at least as a second language, it’s well-placed to be the ‘common denominator’ of global communication. On the other hand, while Mandarin Chinese may well be spoken by a greater percentage of the world’s population… damn, it’s just so hard to learn!
English is the international language of the world, in spite of artificial languages (esperanto et al)
English is the one used most for business and aviation.

a B in GCSE lets u enter top 30 unis, an A gives you better chance and an A* is a minimum requirement to get in top 5 for ANY course
