How Do You Connect And Xbox 360 Elite To Xbox Live Without Buying The $100 Adapter?

I want to connect my Xbox 360 to Xbox live, but i don’t want to have to pay 100 bucks for the adapter. I don’t have a computer neer my Xbox. However, i do have wireless internet in my house.

    Without the adapter the only way to do it is with an ethernet cord. You could drill some holes in your walls and floors and run a cable from you router to your xbox, but you’d probably be better off just buying the adapter.
    It is $70 used at gamestop, but with a littler searching you could probably find one cheaper.

    You can run an Ethernet cord directly from your router to your Xbox.. However a cable longer than 20 feet will diminish the signal strength and you may get dropped from games. The easiest solution is to bite the bullet and buy the wireless adapter. You can get them for about 60 bucks used.

    I’m not sure that’s possible. I go to college where everything is wireless and the only solution to obtaining a wireless connection was to purchase that adapter. It wasn’t $100 when I bought it just a month or 2 ago it was around $85. I bought it from Wal-Mart. Best of Luck.

    If u have an amazon.com account then u can just buy a 100ft ether cable for around 20$ , i bought it and i have 0 connection problems
