    Two that I would consider professional are Adobe Premier and Sony Vegas. Though I’m not certain of all their features because I’ve only used each of those programs briefly. Both are very expensive though.
    I’m not sure exactly what they use for major movies though. Perhaps one of these programs?

    I don’t know what they use but I have used Power Point for that purpose. The biggest problem for me is to get the technician to take the cues on cue. I have mixed all sorts of video clips, slides and sound cues. So far I’m happy with PP. When I need more I’ll ask.
