How Can I Help With Child Abuse And Neglect In My Community?

I just have this feeling that I’m meant to help children some how. I’m only 15 so that makes it a bit difficult. Any suggestions?

First up I’d speak with your parents about this as they might have some suggestions. It’s also good to let them know your thinking and I’m sure you’ll need their consent to get involved in anything.
There are rape crisis centres all over the world, I’ve put in a few links or google one in your local area. You could speak to them about what you could do – perhaps a project in your school to raise awareness or collect funds?
There are also non-government organisations (NGO’s) like Amnesty International, the Salvation Army, UNICEF, the United Nations, the World Health Organisation or something closer to home like your local church, school, community health centre or hospital. Some of them might have programs for young people that you could join.
I’ve put in a link to an Australian org that matches volunteers with organisations in case that helps. I’m sure you’ll find something that works for you.
