I am going to Aruba next week and need to go grocery shopping to save money. I need to get some good ideas on food that would be easy to stuff in my check in bag. Any feedback will help! Thanks!

They have grocery stores there. They may be a bit more expensive but it would be plain crazy to try to take your own food. Stuff you take could be confiscated by customs for various reasons. You’re not going to save all that much anyway. But if you insist, good luck to you.
Basically the only things you’ll be able to bring will be dry goods, like crackers, nuts and granola bars. You can always go to the grocery store (Ling & Sons is pretty big down there) and pick up bread, cheese, etc.
