What Is The Best Option/software For Me To Use For Filing Taxes This Year?

All tax filing years from 2005 and prior, my wife and I have had her place of employement do our taxes for free, though we have not had anything ’special’ to adjust taxes one way or another. However, in 2005, my wife and I moved between states,(receiving taxable cash and benefits from my company to compensate for the costs of the move), paid taxes in 4 states, under a total of 5 jobs between us, including a period of unemployement with my wife, generated profit from selling stocks and mutual funds to cover the period of unemployement, and ended up donating a fair amount of money to a charity.
Looking back, I can’t believe that we went from no adjustments to nearly every single non-business tax adjustment possible in 1 year, and am doing our own taxes for the first time. I feel in over my head and am looking for direction in how to proceed.

both Turbo Tax and TaxCut software do a great job at walking you through step by step through the taxes, i have used turbo tax for 4 years and just this year tryed the TaxCut software online and was very pleased with it, TaxCut also has a hotline for questions as you process and its relatively cheap 40 bucks for a joint file with both fed and state included.
