I’ve been looking into software for creating my own audio mash-ups, mostly A+B overlays but i’d eventually like to get into more complex mixes. I’ve done some reading about Sony ACID music studio and the upgraded Sony ACID Pro (a difference of $50 vs. ~$300). Will I be able to do what i want with the cheaper version, or is the Pro style necessary for mashing? Are there any other softwares out there people would recommend over the Sony sets?
