I know some games, demo disks do an update but how do you make sure you are using the latest software.
I play PC games online and have no wish to subscribe to Live at the moment so that is not an option.
Is there a place to download the latest updates?
Thanks

You can actually go to xbox.com and if you have a CD burner they will have the updates available on the website to burn to cd and then use in the 360.
you can burn an update to a cd from xbox.com, but ithink this just gives you the emulation software for backwards compatibility
