After I Clone The Hardrive Image, Can I “mount” And Use The Software Inside Of Image Drive?

I have a software in my current PC then it was patented/registered and work only in one pc, but we need now to upgrade the computer.
If I clone the harddrive, it will work only in the same old same system.
What i need is to mount & run only the whole hardrive image ( like remote desktop ) then use the software inside of it.
Is there any software that can do that?
