I recently encountered “an error” about ATI when running a internet game, and Microsoft advised me to look for updates.
I need to know what software I am running in order for the updates.
By the way, I am using a DELL Latitude CPt laptop.

Right Click on “my computer” on the desktop.
Choose “properties”
click on the “hardware” tab
click on the “device manager” button
click on the “+” sign next to “Display Adapters”
it will reveal the name of your video card.
double click on the name of your video card
click on the “driver” tab on the new window that just popped open
the driver version will be there!
Good luck!
I would recommend going to dell’s site http://www.support.dell.com and enter your service tag their.
But if you want to know about your graphics hardware,
Click Start > Run then type dxdiag and press enter.
well from the desktop screen
right click>properties>settings>advanced>click on adapter tab
there you go you have your video card info
and memory
U can go into the device manager and actually update the driver there, windows will look online for an update. If that doesn’t work at least you can see what kind of video card it is so you can find them yourself on ati’s website. To get into the device manager you go to Start>Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager ; ) hope that helps
