Shareware is a marketing method. It’s based on the principle of “try before you buy”.
Companies such as Microsoft, Symantec, WinZIP, Ulead and countless others are offering free trial versions of the software. They may choose to call it a demo, trial version, free trial, free download or any other term they wish. But if the user can try before they buy, this is Shareware.

Not all shareware is limited in use.
limited use is using specific features of the software not all features.
shareware is using full features for limited time
shareware means it’s free for you to use, limited use software means you have limited time to use it (try it for some weeks or smtin)
