If your able copy the software succesfully before installing from the the back up copy which is a recomended procedure ??????
The sky's the limit just don't tell them I told you so.
Some software company's require liscenceing fees for use on multiply machines which can be a problem if you need Tech support.

If you even deleted from the registries also, you can install n number of times.
Because when you are un-installing any software it will just remove from the program files but not from the registries.
whenever you formatted only, then that time all your registry files will be removed or whenever you used the clean-up registry command then un-installed registry files will be removed.
The activation versions will stay in the registries, because lot many people or not aware of registries so when they installed the software once, after the trial period completed they don't know what to do if they want to install again the trail version.
so delete the respective files from the registry and then you can install that software again and again.
use regedit command to delete the files, but be careful when you are deleting, otherwise your system files may deleted. ok.
