Without Downloading Other Software-how Do I Convert A Wma File To An Mp3?

I have a music page on myspace which will only allow me to use mp3s. I have a song from a CD that I ripped using windows media player, which is the only music program I have on my computer other than sonicstage and iTunes. How do I make the songs into mp3 files WITHOUT HAVING TO DOWNLOAD ANY SOFTWARE? (please be specific and give me directions step-by-step as I am not good with computers. Also, if you give any advice for me to use with iTunes, be extra specific because I’ve never used iTunes in my life its only on my computer because my sister uses it to put songs on her iPod.) thanks!

  1. sherpasr says:

    1) open iTunes
    2) go to Edit > Preferences
    3) click on the “Advanced Tab”
    4) under that, click “importing”
    5) under “import using” choose “MP3 Encoder” from the drop down menu
    6) click “ok”
    7) go to File > import
    8) locate the file on your computer. select it, and click “ok”
iTunes will then import it and convert it to an MP3.
the file should then be under: c:My DocumentsMy MusiciTunes music
    or some place like that.
