Upgraded your operating system lately? If your Zune hasn’t been able to be synched with your PC for awhile, some of your subscription downloads may have expired and thus become unplayable on the device.
To troubleshoot, first unplug your Zune. If you’re running Window Vista, click Start > All Programs > Accessories, and then right-click on ‘Command Prompt’ to select ‘Run as Administrator.’ In Windows XP, simply go to Start > Run, type “cmd” (without quotes) and press Enter.
Once the command prompt is open, type the following:
regsvr32 “c:program fileszunezunesp.dll”
and press Enter. If a prompt appears, simply press ‘OK.’ Then type:
exit
and the window will close. Now, connect your Zune and all should work correctly.
