I’ve been having trouble transferring files from my PC to a disc but I can’t. I already downloaded softwares for burning but I still have troubles. Do I have to buy another CD-RW?

gud luck
Can you be more specific about the problem you are facing ? It can help to determine whether its a software or hardware issue… I would recommend this :
1. Uninstall Nero completely. (Use a registry editor if u have to, remove all traces of nero)
2. Use a simple DVD burner. (IMG burn for example)
I see everyone has a different answer …so here’s mine too:
I like using a freeware burner program that I really am amazed on how well it works on all my burning needs including DVD’s as well as CD’s
It’s called CD BrunerXP Pro at:http://www.cdburnerxp.se/
HOWEVER, starting with Windows XP and now with Vista, you really don’t need a separate burning program to do CD’s all you do is put a blank CD into your burning drive, then drag and drop your stuff to the drive in Windows Explorer. Windows does the rest through pop-up prompts.
this program always works for anything you need to burn: http://infrarecorder.org/?page_id=5
Try out a software called Fireplace. It “burns” pretty well.
refer to above answer. However SOME peripherals need the cd or dvd to be a DVD + R or DVD – R
