I need somthing that allows detail, and is complex. It needs to have good character building and allows you to have a character decription.

LOL. I think if you need all that maybe you shouldn’t writing a novel. Girlfriend of professional fiction writer.
Microsoft Word, or if you want more creative room, use pencil and paper. Create an outline for the story, and plan the background carefully before you begin.
For excellent tutorials on building believable characters and settings, check out these tutorials: http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/farp/writi… Even if you don’t write fantasy, some of them are relevant.
You already have it. It’s between your ears.
There is no software that will write things for you.
There is play and film script software that will format things correctly for those types of writing.
Word, or if you don’t have much money to start out with a pen and paper is a good beginning!
