Hello there
I have an old program that runs only on windows 98. I tried to install windows 98 on my laptop but unfortunately no win 98 drivers for recent computers. Is there any way to make the program run on windows xp. I searched for old computers which are still on win 98 system but it looks like an imagination. Any help?
Thank you

Install the game.
Right click on the shortcut icon.
Go to ‘Properties’
Go to the ‘Compatablity’ tab
Then hit ‘Run in compatabilty mode for Windows 98 etc
NOTE: this does not always work but it is worth a shot. As far as I know this is the only way to make an old game work on a newer operating system. I do not know of any freeware that will do it any better than what Windows has built in. Good Luck.
If Compatibility Mode doesn’t help and the program is important, install Windows 98 inside a virtual machine. See http://www.microsoft.com/windows/product… for example.
