You can get a trial edition of Virtual DJ software, which is a nice tool to start learning about BPM, editing, mixing and remixing.

Try Limewire, or bloggs, DJ message boards..but i reccomend you buying the program
Ableton,pro tools, fruity loops are good remix software
ProDJ, Serato, CUE,VDJ, Traktor are good DJ software
My Fav is Scratch Live Serato for DJing
