Help Me Get Rid Of The Brontok.a[16] Virus! Please?!?
About 1 1/2months ago I started getting a page pop up mostly when I got on the net to start searching around, or when I leave my Comp on over night I’ll get on in the morning to find 6-10 of these pages loaded in tabs across my firefox Toolbar. Saying things like this:::

That just have the page it loads all day!!))
My Computer was VERY Vulnerable & still is, It has no Anti Virus on it. Mine ran out at a year, and through neglect even though I planned to get another, I didn’t and now we are here.
I am running Windows XP, & things are to the point where SOMETHING has to be done, I CANNOT download ANYTHING! at all!
I just got a new Video Camera, I can’t download the Software to even get my pics on here. I can’t download from any websites at all, unless it’s just pictures, So Downloading an actual Nice antivirus DOES NOT WORK!! I tried, & it let me get ALL the way through the download, and then the virus started to take away ALL the Progress I had made, I sat there and watched the 15-20minutes I took downloading this Anti Virus, be taken away in a matter of minutes….:o(
I started to read some, and realized it is something about an Infected Hard drive? I tried Brontok Washer…Didn’t work…and a few others a site recommended…NOTHING! 
It did let me download those though, just didn’t help.
I read something like the only way to really get rid of it is place it in a computer with a good Updated Anti Virus, but I have NO way of doing so. Please help! Now I realize neglecting our computer is a big NO-NO!!

Oh one more thing to mention, IF I DO try to download anything it will immediately shut down my computer usually…The brontok washer things did download though. “Just didn’t work.

My computer now has viruses, and I cannot download any antivirus software. Anyone know where I can get some?

And everytime I am on a webpage, select words are highlighted as links, and sometimes I click them by accident and a page pops up that says error.
