I just want a semi-simple photo editing software, but a little more complex than iPhoto. One that has all the main functions but with like a warp tool, darken/lighten too, ect.

Picnik or Lunapic are great all round web based and FREE editing tools. Since they are web based they work with any computer – PC or Mac. If you need/want more features downloading GIMP is a great options. Still free, but you have to download the software. There are also free tools to add text blurbs, to make collages, to put your photo into other images. There are a number of tools that allow you to put the image of a face into other photos for some fun creations. Check out the links below for more ideas.

Use GIMP
Photoshop Elements 6 is your best bet. It will run you less than $100 vs. full Photoshop, which will run you $600 to $900.
