I was wondering if I would be able to use my microSD to put music onto my phone. I have seen on the verizon website that you can buy a data cable and Vcast software but I would not like to spend my money on that. Let me know what you think.

You can use a micro sd card for music.
You can absolutely save music onto your microSD card and then insert it into your phone. Just make sure when save the music on the drive, make sure it saves it into “my_music” folder on the card. If you’re using Windows Media Player, it will usually try to create its own folder, which your phone will not recognize.
