Which Free Screencasting Software Do You Recommend?

Please tell me the best features about the software you like. Thanks. I don’t want to invest any money just yet. This will be my first website. Once I make some money, then I can buy a $299 software. Thanks.

I am using DemoCreator. Here are some features like for this software:
    • Zoom and pan to show specific details
    • Integration of multiple screen recording scenes
    • Publish streaming Flash Movie for web sharing
    • Automatically add annotations for screen recording
    • Background music and narration rerecording http://www.sameshow.com/demo-creator.htm…
For free, Camstudio(SWF, AVI output), Tipcam(with zoom, but not easy to control), or BB Flashback Express could be your option.

Here is a list with many Freeware and Open Source applications:

    I personally recommend CamStudiom
    http://sourceforge.net/projects/camstudio/
It has nice options like which audio input you want to use (computer speakers or microphone etc) and is easy to use.
This restriction asking for more information is really annoying and won’t let me post unless I keep typing, apologies.

I recommend Jing. It has 2 versions. One is free and one is premium. You can also upload videos you make on youtube, etc.
