What Is The Best Software For Making A Slide Show Of Old Photos On To A Dvd.?

I am making a dvd slide show for my mothers 70th birthday. It’s a huge bash and it will be displayed on a 75 inch screen. I want to add sound and text as well. am scanning in all the old pictures, what is the best software available or is there an easy way to this.

flash , window movie maker , powerpoint , adobe image ready .. ther are so many ..

Never can go wrong w/ Powerpoint, but Adobe has a photoshop program that I love to you use. Good luck w/ that
windows movie maker
PPT is best. (you should be having it anyway)
Adobe will cost you.
Movie maker will create a file with big size.
Any other software, I have not tried.
well If you have a mac you can use imovie witch makes DVDs in High Definition
