I am looking to automate gathering price lists from our different suppliers from their websites and then being able to automatically add our markup to the prices, as well as having a search option that will list the items that we search for from all the suppliers.
Is their any free or cheap software that can do all or most of these things?

It depends on what you consider cheap. To hire someone to custom code a script that would do that could cost quite a bit of money. An alternative is to do it yourself with a program called AutoMate. http://www.networkautomation.com/automate/7/
AutoMate allows you build automation solutions through drag and drop task development so it’s easy to use and doesn’t require scripting knowledge. They have a fully functional demo available you can try to see if it will suit your needs. If you have any trouble building your task I would recommend setting up a live demo with them…. Their support is excellent. Good luck!
