Don’t waste your money on the software or a keyboard. The computer will not teach or monitor proper technique. Unless you pay in the thousands for a good keyboard, she will have no chance at even moderately good piano technique. Improper technique can result in painful, lifelong injuries. In addition keyboard technique is completely different than piano technique. If you are prepared to pay for a good keyboard look for a Korg or a Kurzweil. It will start at about $3000.
