Just uninstall it and you’ll be fine.
If you need the USB drivers, put the disc in, exit the autorun, and then have the add new hardware wizard search on the CD rom.
sure, if you are using windows (most versions), go into my computer, then click on the add/remove programs icon. Once in there, look for the dsl software (should be pretty easy to find). Then just follow the program. There is usually a remove button to make it easier.
If you are using a usb modem, no. Otherwise you should be able to uninstall it safely. Make sure you have the disk to re-install it in case it causes problems.
