“security Toolbar 7.1″ Removal?
My computer is infected with “Security Toolbar 7.1″, and it is promts:
1. system is infected with trojan-spy.win32@mx; and to download antispam softwares.
2. I am having full updates of norton antivirus… but it is unable to detect this trojan
3. I can not restore my computer in back date also.
4. There is no infrmation about this toolbar even in “add or remove programme” in control panel menu..
I am having original windows XP home edition and a licenced copy of norton antivirus.
i dont want to spent any more to remove this “Security toolbar 7.1″
Can anybody help me by telling the method to remove this spyware from my computer without spending money?
Please specify me any FREE removal tool or manual remove process.
all the links given in previos question detects the trojon but asking mony to remove it…
plz…. give some free removal tool of “Security toolbar7.1″
It should be free one… as i dont want to sent more penny on security (i have full norton)

HOW TO REMOVE SecurityToolbar 7.1:
1. Temporarily disable System Restore (Windows Me/XP). [how to]
2. Go to Start, then Control Panel.
3. Double-click on Internet Properties to modify internet settings.
4. Click on Programs tab.
5. Below the window click on Manage Ads-ons
6. Disable any entries with Security Toolbar or any suspicious add-ons. If it has ActiveX control please delete also.
7. Reboot your computer in SafeMode with Networking [how to]
8. Go to http://www.ewido.com
9. Click “Scan Now’ on the left side to scan your computer online.
10. Downloading of definition files will begin followed by thorough scanning. Wait for the process to finish.
11. Click “Remove” to delete found infections.
12. Reboot your computer normally and do another scan.
Security Toolbar 7.1 is dangerous toolbar and comes from very dangerous trojan zlob. It hijack your homepage and
displays fake warning message to download the another fake spyware applications… If your computer is infected with Security Toolbar 7.1 hijacker then its very dangerous for your computer.
