Zune Problem?

have now had my zune for about half a year and this is the first time that I am experiencing any problems. When I connect my zune to my pc, the pc says found new hardware and it recognizes the zune. However the software will see my zune but it takes about 10-15 minutes to recognize it. When it finally does, it doesn’s read anything on the device except for the memory free and used. I went to the microsoft website and tried almost evrything on the list. I disabled my antivirus and tried other usb ports. I even tried it on my brothers new laptop and it didnt read it. I do have all the new updates. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this?

So you have tried attaching the Zune to different ports on your computer? Have you tried downgrading your software?
