I Am Trying To Find A Free Recording Software, What Should I Do?

I have a Mac (10.4.11), and I need a free recording software. And it needs to be a real application, not a free trial. I can’t seem to find one. Can you guys help me out and give me some suggestions for a free downloadable recording software for Mac OSX?

   AUDACITY is a fine program, robust & many features.
   If it’s not working, you’re doing something wrong. Read the Help file so you can use it properly
   .

   Audacity gets another nod from my corner…
   There is an entire set (90) of ‘Effects’ for doing all kinds of modifications to recordings, here’s for the Windows side (it might work for the Mac platform, but read on that first).

   Well,some people agree that Audacity is good,some do not.
   You have to find one fitting you very well,and that bases on your using.
   Try more!!
   I am using Total Screen Recorder,which is simply and human.
   But it will cost you 25bucks.
   To me,this 25bucks give me more than it values.
   Hope you can get a good one.

   I’m not sure if they have a version for Mac, but I use Audacity. You can try going to the apple website and seeing if they have any programs.

   As everyone else said, Audacity is what you want to look at and according to it’s website it’s works on the Mac.

   I think Audacity works for Macs, too. It is free and legal.
