Why Wont My Linksys Easylink Advisor Software Detect My Wireless Router?

I have a Linksys WRT54G Wireless Router version 8. I install the Linksys EasyLink Advisor 1.6 software just fine but it won’t detect my router. I can connect just fine without the software but I can’t get a 2nd pc to work. I need to get this software to work so I can add a 2nd pc using the EasyLink Advisor 1.6 software. Any suggestions?

Hmm… without much information, the first thing that comes to mind is the Windows Firewall. Perhaps it needs to be disabled (temporarily) to see if that’s the problem.
