when you are working with windows LAN you can’t easily send massages to other people in your LAN. i also have some problem with sharing files through LAN i mean when i share them other people can’t see them in their Network place so I’m looking for a software that helps me with sending files and massages though a LAN connection.

i have noticed that alot of collages and universities upgrade every year or every few years. and i wonder what they do with the old versions of software or what they do with the slightly older computers and computer hardware. also i would want to know how u can find out when they do sell off their old stuff if they do and how to get a good deal on some of the stuff.

Why Is Avg Detecting My Firewall Components As A Trojan?

I use AVG Free 8.0 for my antivirus needs, and I use ZoneAlarm’s free firewall software as my firewall. When I booted up my PC this evening, AVG’s Resident Shield popped up an alert, informing me that 10 different files are components of a Trojan Horse. Thing is, they’re all ZoneAlarm components. I haven’t changed anything on my system. AVG and ZoneAlarm are both set for manual updating, so it’s not like either program downloaded something funky without my say-so. Nobody else uses my computer during the day (it’s just me, the wife and my cat–and the wife has 2 PCs of her own!). What the hell’s going on? I haven’t yet made a decision about what to do with the files; AVG is holding them in stasis until I click one way or the other. I don’t want to lose my firewall, but…?

I have start a blog but the writing was wrong , I use “sofware” instead of the word” software”. I have register my blog to adsense under http://best-free-antivirus-sofwares.blog…
As you can see the word sofware is misspelled. Now my site
does not show on google or yahoo after 7 days. All the other blogs are not showing either. What should I do? I tried changing to software but my stuff is registered on Adsense under Sofware. What can I do? Thanks

Do You Have Any Suggestions For An Alternative To Itunes Software For The Ipod?

I really don’t like the iTunes software, it causes my machine to run slowly, you have to download the whole program everytime you update, and it renames the files on my hard drive and hides them. I’d love it if there was an alternative that actually worked with the iPod.

Need Ideas For A Speech Recognition Software For People With A Southern Accent?

I am from the deep south and have a very southern accent. I sound like the boy on the movie “Sling Blade”. Well I would like to get my computer to operate by voice recognition software. The only problem is is my computer doesn’t understand me. I have to tell it over and over but it just doesn’t get it.
So my question is is there a voice recognition software that understands the southern accent?

Slow Computer Again!!!?

Hi all, Once again here I am with this issue about my slow computer(Dell Inspiron 1501 Windows Vista AMD Sempron) I followed almost all the instructions given to me by the community right here( defragment the computer, run CCleaner etc) but still my computer is not as fast as I wish. I should say I have installed Avast Home Edition after McAfee the antivirus who came along with the computer from the factory expired. Right now I have running on my computer Avast( as antivirus software) PCtools( as spyware which as I found out lately is only really free to a certain extent!) CCleaner( as registry cleaner) because which are somehow free. However in order to fix the slowness of my laptop once and for all I run, as suggested by someone, RegistryBot which found 870 errors on my computer but could only fix one for free which seems contrary to I was told by someone that Registrybot was free. How come CCleaner did not find those errors? For now I need a FREE REGISTRY CLEANER to get rid of those 800-something errors on my computer. Thanks beforehand for your assistance
P.S I have also run both Windows Defender and Spyware Doctor on my computer which found NO malware on my computer
