after researching this some, it appear that most antispyware and antivirus software cannot delete this, and the ones that can are costly. Is there a free method this can be done? (preferably not manual deletion, but i would like to know that way too.)

Please help! I had to delete an expired 2005 version of McAffe because it was stopping my Internet connection from connecting. Now a Windows Internet Explorer box pops up full of typos (the quote is word for word what it says) and says:

It’s really annoying and I do have the freeware program Spybot – Search and Destroy. Is there any freeware that you could recommend? Perhaps some that doesn’t expire or leave you with a bunch of unwanted added programs. If not, is there anyway to stop this from happening? This never happened before deleting that old program. I got zonealarm free edition and I have windows vista home basic I have ran my AVG antivirus software and windows defender and it comes up clean. I have both of them up to date AVG 8.0
Why does windows explorer need internet access for?
