Avira Problem (please Help Me !)?

My avira antivir personal wont update it gives this report whenever I try to update:

Problem With My Bsnl Broadband?

hi
im from india..and im using bsnl dataone broadband 500c (combo)per …i will be given 1.5gb per month and if i use internet more than that i will be charged 0.8ps/mb
and now my problem is …as soon as i click connect on my pc to access internet its taking mb by its own….
like 1mb per 4 seconds
it goes like this
256kb
458kb
676kb
1,234kb
in this manner
even if i dont open internet explorer and i even dint on the automatic updates….
i checked wether my antivirus software is updating anything , and i even tried uninstalling it…
i formatted my pc and installed windows xp again.
but the problem is still like that
so if i just on the modem and gets connected to internet and sit idle with desktop screen without touching anything…..
if i see after 2 or 3 minutes, the recieved mb will b like 12 or 13 mb
its becoming very difficult for me because i will be given only a 1.5gb per month for free
i gave a complaint to bsnl office but i think u ppl know how the governament sector works in india….they just paid a deaf ear
so could anyone please help me
and now for just typing this problem to u it took me 27 mb
i dont understand wats happening with my system

I Want To Publish My Own Cookbook. What Software Will Let Me Add Images, Descriptions, Colored Backgrounds Etc

I’m looking for a program similar to Word or Correl Draw or something that wil let me design multicolor backgrounds and add text and import images to them. It doesn’t need to be anything fancy or cookbook-style related…just looking for a cheap program/software that is easy to use and I can get going with this. Thanks so much for any help!!!

What Software Can I Use To Create Custom Baby Invitations/announcements That Won’t Infringe On Copyright Laws?

I would like to offer baby announcements/shower invitations at my store for clients to purchase and I need to find out what software I can use that will allow me to create different templates/fonts and import pictures from a CD, I don’t want to run into copyright laws/issues, so what do you recommend?
