Malwarebytes Problem?

Ok, so I had two high-risk computer viruses that were found by Norton Antivirus. Norton couldn’t remove the viruses so I asked on Yahoo Answers what would be best to do. Many people told me to install the Malwarebytes software for free from Download.com, so I did. It tells me that the installation is complete. But, when I click the desktop icon, or try to run the program from the Start list, it doesn’t start! I’ve tried re-installing the software, no luck, and I’ve restarted my computer several times. What’s wrong, and what do I do?

How Do You Uninstall Software That Won’t Uninstall?

I am trying to uninstall my PalmOne software and keep getting an error that states that I dont have sufficient access to the [registry] key. I am a full administrator on my machine and want to finally uninstall it – short of just deleting the program file. Is there a way to uninstall software that doesn’t want to uninstall? If not, is there any software that I can get that will do it?

Can Anybody Recommend Software To Use To Remodel?

Has anybody here ever used any computer software to ‘visualize’ changes to their room?
I’m looking for a program I can use but im looking for a specific feature. I’m looking for something that allows me to scan pictures of my room into the program, basically to ‘convert’ it to 3d. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks!

plsss tell me any antivirus/internet security which do not get there keys black listed which also includes life time subscription ( light software) earlier i was using norton IS but now it is expired nd then i installed kaspersky IS 2010 then suddenly after 10-15 days my key was blacklisted. is mcafee total protec. is fine for surfing internet is there any prob. with mcafee regarding getting keys blacklisted plsss help me . im not soo regular internet user i only use social networking sites , chats, sumtimes download music and movies free and even softwares for free using this site www.dl4all.com or use torrents plsss guide me

I want to install all of these free internet security tools on my brand new computer to both prevent and detect and remove any threats that may get into my computer(Virus, Spyware, Adware, Identity theft, etc). I do not want to spend alot of money on software like Norton which I hear isn’t that great anyway. Here is my list:

Can I Use Two Smart Monitoring Software Programs Together To Better Know The Condition Of My Laptop Hard Disk?

It is said that one should not use two firewalls together, or two antivirus software together, because they can potentially clash. But two or more antispyware from different vendors are recommended because they dont clash. Is it safe, and is it good to keep two smart monitoring software running together to get a better idea of my hard disk’s status. I want to use Active Smart and HDDLife programs together.

Can Someone Tell Me Step-by-step The Proper Way To Uninstall & Reinstall Your Operating System?

I have a 3-yr. old Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop with Windows XP operating system. Many people tell me I have to do this since I can’t afford a technician to fix my registry that’s infected with Trojan.Zlob, & I keep getting ERROR CODE 19, & my DVD+RW drive is corrupted & missing. But the thing is-I’m afraid to lose certain programs, like Microsoft Office that I paid for seperately. I can’t find the CD’s, & my computer is out of warranty.
I’d HATE to have to go this route. I wish I can get the registry fixed & my DVD+RW drive back without having to go through all this mess. This happened AS SOON AS my Norton Antivirus expired. & I didn’t know they had free virus protection software. I have Avast, Spyware Doctor, & MalWare Bytes that I got AFTER this computer mess, & none of them are effective in getting rid of this. I can’t reboot my PC into safe mode or anything, & it won’t let me restore. All I wish for is to get rid of these infections & get my DVD+RW drive back.
