Please Help!! I Accidentally Installed A Virus Onto My Computer?
A stupid a-hole from yahoo! answers game me a link to a video and it was a virus! I also didn’t have any anti virus protection, so I downloaded a free anti virus software that my boyfriend told me about, but it’s saying it’s detecting things but can’t seem to delete them and there’s all these stupid pop ups flashing everywhere that says that I need to install this software and it’s detecting all these viruses, but I can’t afford to buy new software. When I turn on my laptop it scans for all this crap and once Windows comes on and I’m logged in, all the pop ups return and it runs very slowly.
Anyways, I was wondering if I was able to install a Norton Antivirus CD from like 2007 onto here, or will it not work anymore?

How Can I Remove Viruses From My Computer?
About a week ago I realized I had a virus on my computer. I noticed that my firewall was off and everytime I browse a page porno pop-ups pop up and also a virus software called antivirus system pro. Its asking for my credit card information. I tried doing a windows update but this virus won’t even allow me to access the windows site. When I try clicking on items on my desktop a small window pops up saying file cannot be executed. I tried getting the free avg download but it won’t let me, it says the file cannot be executed. It seems like every 5 seconds these pop-ups pop up about sex and sometimes freezes my computer. Someone please help me, this is so annoying.
