Over the past few weeks my internet has been really slow.
Some websites don’t load at all and most take ages.
It was fine and I had no problems with it.
It might be related to my Norton Antivirus expiring.
I thought I had to pay for new software, not knowing that AVG was free.
After a month or so unprotected I found AVG and tried to download it, except the transfer rate was around 15.0 KB/sec. That’s scarily slow.
Signal strength etc. is 54.0 Mb/s but to download something it takes forever. AVG was less than a Megabyte and I was downloading it for about an hour. Maybe a bit more. I managed to download and scan today but no threats were found. I tried the speed test and download peaks at .13 Megabits.
Yeah, that’s a decimal point there before the 1.
I’m pretty concerned.
Any help?

Check the DHCP list to see if there are any computers that have an IP address that are not yours. Someone could be using your connection and using up the bandwidth. I would also try resetting the modem and router.
