Uploading Video From A Jvc Digital Video Camera With No Software Cd Or Firewire?

how can i upload video from my digital camera..the video is actually on the mini cassette tape, but i dont have the software cd, i do have a usb cable, is it possible to get the video from the cassette? or maybe a way to transfer it from the cassette to the memory card?
