I’m trying to get started designing “paper goods” for baby showers and expecting moms (ie: shower invited, announcements, favors) and I have no experience with drawing. Is it possible to find a basic illustration software that will help me create my own “characters” or artwork ? or should I stick with stock photos?

i joined a software comp, B’lore on 9 Mar 2005 with 6 month of probabtion period. i was living in delhi so posted at client site in a company in Greater Noida. i took leave from 9-Jun-05 to 31-Jul-05, because of critical condition of early stage of pregnancy. company paid me for that duration, without any prior intimation of any recovery. i completed my probabtion period on 9-sep-05. but didn’t receive the confirmation letter till the day i left the company i.e. on 21-Oct-2005. the main reason was hectic schedule of the work and travelling (25km) one way. and by that time i was pregnant by 7 months. after completing the exit interview and other formaliites they gave me provisional relieving letter. now after repeatedly asking they told me final settlement of 1.28lakh including the payment during 9 mar to 31 jul. please advice is it legal to ask for such recovery. what i can di in that.

Hello, I’ve been using my computer for about 2 years now and it has become really slow recently, it used to be very slow but then I installed antivirus and anti spyware and it became faster but recently it’s gotten worse than before.
I use Ccleaner to clean all junk files, Auslogics disk defrag to defragmant my computer, AVG free 8.0 antivirus and auslogics boostspeed for optimizing software, I clean cache files everyday to get rid of any junk files. my computer has 45.3GB of space left outta the 67GB available. I also do all the scans and checkups on a nearly daily basis and use Firefox for browsing yet my computer is as slow as a 8 year old junk filled computer would be. please help

Prior to doing a System Recovery on my lap top this evening (that originally had IE 7 factory installed by the manufacturer) in the past month or two, I downloaded and installed the full version of IE 8, however I’ve had this problem before where I installed IE 8, and due to Data Execution Prevention, when I opened the web browser window, it would close/quit seconds later. At that time, a technician over the phone showed me how to fix/rectify the problem, and this time around I only have Data Execution Prevention set to essential not all things (Control Panel on Vista (all, not classic view) > System and Maintenance > System > Advanced System Settings > Advanced > Performance > Settings > Performance Settings > Data Execution Prevention – which is currently set to “Turn DEP on for essential Windows programs and services only” Not: “Turn DEP on for all programs and services except those I select”
I had it set to “essentials” prior to the system recovery I conducted/did earlier this evening, and IE 8 opened, ran, and functioned ok.
Microsoft is closed for phone support until business hours during the week, which is why I’m asking on here.
My ISP can’t help with this query, as it’s to do with a Microsoft product/software.
Could it be the Add Ons settings that need to be adjusted/changed in the Internet Options of IE 8?
