My Computer Wont Start Up Or Reboot To Safe Mode!!!!?

When i turn my computer on it starts up as usual, but right before it get to the sign in page a black screen pops up and it says “we apoplogize for the inconvenience, but windows did not start successfully.a recent hardware or software change might have caused this. If your computer stopped responding, restarted unexpectedly, or was automatically shut down to protect your files and folders choose Last known Good Configuration to revert to the most recent settings that worked. If previous start up attempt was interupted due to a power failure or because the power or restart button was pressed, or if you arent sure what caused the problem, choose start windows normally” then it gives me the choices of safe mode, safe mode with networking, safe mode with command prompt, last known good configuration, start windows normally. ive tried all of the options and it ALWAYS brings me back to the same message. ive tried rebooting but still nothing. i went to PC recovery but it fails to do so

Antivirus 2009 – Sillly Question.?

Hello all,
Like so many it would seem, my PC laptop has been hit with this nasty Antivirus 2009 thing. The first thing i did was download spyware doctors free scanning tool and did a full scan. This came up with around 130 infections and 4 bugs (trojans etc.) all low risk. I tried to install other software to remove these (have seem the good ones and am happy to pay).However, when i turn my laptop on as of yesterday, it semi-crashes so theres not much i can do. Im going to take it to a reputable repair place to see what can be done. Its not the newest or fastest machine ( think the scanning programme was a big download for it to be honest! ) Heres the blonde question. Im going away for a while so intend to keep the computer switched off for this time. Is this safe with the viruses? Can they continue doing no-good/making things worse if comps left off for a couple of weeks? Silly question i know but answers would be appreciated.

i need your help! PLEASE
i think i have a virus bc i wanna download an antivirus software and at the bottom when i google it it says analitic-check and then when i click on the link on google it says a bunch of numbers at a bottom looking like an IP address idk and then it takes me to all these fake sites and stuff and if someone gives me a link if i wanna go to like bleepingcomputers.com for example it just stops and says try again and its not my browser bc i tried opera I.E and also i tried to do safe mode with networking not working to download something to get rid of this and it deleted most of my icons and at the bottom where the time is it says virus alert like 20:20 and it does not let me view all programs and when i wanna do a system restore it wont let me go NEXT ..is there anything else i can do? *******remember I CANT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING AT ALL!!!!!!!! SO DO NOT GIVE ME ANY LINKS BECAUSE IT WILL NOT WORK!!!!!!!****** but anything i can do? i DONT have a recovery CD and i cant afford to spend ANY MONEY ON THIS RIGHT NOW!!!!! PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP =( i just need a way i can download because it will not and i repeat once again will NOT let me download!
AND I DONT HAVE ANY WAY TO GET TO ANYONE ELSES COMPUTER TO USE A CD AND PUT IT TO MINE OR USB CORDS OR ANYTHING HELP PLEASE NOW OK

Infected With Antivirus 2009 Pop Up Window,how To Rid Of It.?

What i have seen so far is that this antivirus 2009 or 8 ,7 tell me I have been infected so need to buy their software. Upon looking to how to rid of this malware,I found spy hunter would do the trick but why buy spy hunter or antivirus 2009 fix ,it seems both are connected one infects you to buy his software,you dislike it then spy hunter comes to the rescue, however, this in not the end,they will infect you forever as longest they can get your money. Anybody has found a free fix.?

I Have A New Hard Drive Question?

I Have A Dying, Always-Corrupting, Loud Hard Drive Currently Set As The MASTER. I Also Have New (EMPTY!, NOTHING) Western Digital Hard Drive Currently Set As The SLAVE. What I Am Trying To Do Is To Make My New Hard Drive My ONE and ONLY Hard Drive In The Future. I Was Told That I CAN Boot EVERYTHING(Windows XP, Software, Applications) From My Old Hard Drive To The New One.
I Have An HP a1110n Computer Model. It NEVER Came With Any BOOT Disk Which Contains Windows XP Or Stuff Which I Can Install If I Ever Bought A New Hard Drive.
My Questions Is. Please Tell Me Ways (Step-By-Step) Of How I Can How Can I Boot My New Hard Drive (EMPTY!) From My Old Hard Drive.
What I Tried So Far:
- System Recovery (But It Only Recovers The Old Hard Drive)
- HP System Restore Disk (But It Only Recovers The Old Hard Drive)
- The Disk That Came With The New Hard Drive (But It Tells Me To Insert A XP Boot Disk.)

What Is The Best Software For Making Short Film Dvd’s And Slideshows?

I have an apple laptop and would like to start compiling family photos and short videos on to DVD’s. I would like them to be very creative with a professional touch. I need help deciding on what software to use and would like to know any additional tips that anyone might know. I am working now with the iMovie and iDVD from iLife, but I still think that there should be something “more”. I am a very quick learner, but I just need to be pointed in the right direction. I am looking for something that will help me create my own graphics and alter my pictures into something artistic. Thanks for your help… Ciao.

Windows Vista Will Not Start On My Asus Gaming Series Laptop. Help?

I tried turning on my laptop and it takes me to a screen which says “Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause.” It then gives me two options, which are “Launch Startup Repair” and “Start Windows Normally.” I have tried using both, but either choice makes my computer restart and takes me to the same screen. Alt+Ctrl+Del restarts my computer as well. Escape shuts of the timer to automatic selection. I have tried running both the recovery CD and the support CD, and neither works because Windows is not operating. Do you have any suggestions as to what I should do?

How Do You Reset The Software/firmware Of A Digital Camera?

I have a Samsung Digimax 430 (4 mp) and it has some card reading issues. It rarely powers on correctly, and when it does, most of the time it says “Format: OK” in a box in the middle of the screen. I ignore that, and it says “Check MS/SD CARD” afterwards and refuses to let me take pics. Anyone know how to completely erase EVERYTHING, including the camera’s internal software/firmware???
