i just got the ipod touch, and it came with the january software upgrade.Is the jailbroken ipod touch the same as the upgraded ipod touch?the only thing i would want to jailbreak it for is the games,but do i need a wifi connection every time i play the games?

I have an HP dv6000 notebook and I’m trying to transfer files to it from my old desktop. I keep getting a message that says that there is not enough space on my recovery disk D to complete the transfer and that I need to delete files to free up space, but I can’t access recovery disk D because it’s apparently on a separate partition. I tried to burn it to disks but I don’t think it worked because it didn’t ask me to insert additonal disks and I don’t think that 8 gb can fit on a 700 mb disk. I’m pretty computer stupid. Please help. The desktop has Windows XP and the lap top has Windows Vista and I’m using Belikin easy transfer software.

I have a new LG DVD tray and Cyberlink Multimedia with Nero Express but I can’t download photographs and Nero doesn’t recognize the DVD tray. The hardware diagnosis says that my two trays are working properly. The software that came with the DVD tray is on my hard drive.

hi i’m looking for software that will allow me to run multiple operating systems on my computer. i’ve tried VMware but it’s not what i’m looking for.i’m looking for something that gives me choices of all the operating systems on the boot screen, and then i get to choose which one i want and then i go. but then there is an issue with partitions. cause WIndows XP uses NTFS and the other linux OS may use Fat32. i don’t know. so i guess this software would also have to partition my hard drive so i could allocate memory for only specific OS. can anyone give me more info on this kind of thing? would love any advice or info. it may be more simple than what i’m making it.

I have a HP pavilion laptop, which i bought one and a half years ago. I love this laptop, but I didn’t get any securtiy software, so my laptop was infected twice. Both times, i had to do a complete system overhaul and do a system recovery, which just takes the laptop to its initial condition. Everything worked fine after the last system recovery, but I discovered something very disconcerting!
my laptop ran at 1.8ghz and that is its factory setting. But now, when I run the “dxdiag” tool to see the system spec, the processor is posted at 790 mhz!!!
I haven’t felt any effects yet because the laptop still runs pretty fast and is fine. But, i want to run a game that needs 1ghz. Did my laptor deteriorate or is the dxdiag just reading it wrong?
Please help me! Why is it like this and how can I fix it.
p.s. I don’t have anything big on the laptop. I have only one game and just documents. How could the processor going down?

it says this on my background my background is blue with them words wrote on it i have pc tools free antivirus i have spyware doctor and i have zonealarm free firewall but none of them are picking anything up i tried to go in safemode and do it but my antivirus will not come up in safemode and spyware doctor wont pick anything up either i bought the spyware doctor i have does anybody have any suggestions it is going a little slower than normal right now i unplugged the internet from it so it cant get no worse im typing this on xubuntu on my ps3 what should i do any free softwares that might do better than spyware doctor doubt it though spyware doctor is the best of anyting if ever used
