I have found a thing called “Rebrand Software Keyloggers” on my laptop. I updated my spysweeper yesterday and it said that it quarantined it. However, when I retarted my computer and immediately ran Spy Sweeper again to make sure it was gone the same “Rebrand Software Keyloggers” came up. Is there another program that will totally remove this thing from my computer. This is my main computer that I use for everything. How do I get rid of this thing?

My iphone has frozen at the apple logo. No matter how much I reset it, it stucks again. When I connect it to itunes in recovery mode, it DOES have the option of Restore (but only when I’m connected to internet) BUT when i click restore it says “Are you sure you want to restore iphone to its factory settings? This is delete……………and the newest version of the iphone software will be installed.
But in itunes above the restore option, check for updates is disabled and says there that your iphone software is up to date (ALTHOUGH IT IS 2.0 NOT 2.1). Please help me with a way to restore without having to update!!

Hi, I read hard drives magnetic like the ones in your computer need to have about 7 passes so that data previously on the drive isn’t even recoverable by forensic tools like electronic microscopes. (you who don’t understand, a hard drive still holds data even if you deleted the file. so long to copy a file but deleting it takes 1 second. It’s because Windows just says file off the drive’s table of contents but the file is still on the drive. Special software can recover the file but so let’s overwrite the drive with another file. Now the software can’t recover it. That’s what wiping. It takes all deleted files and wipes with random 1s and 0s. But not end of story. Special equipment that government uses look at drive and see data bit on drive isn’t a 1 or a 0. It’s 0.8. The government &high end recovery labs use microscope. 0.8 means the data in previous file was a 0, but now it’s a 1. A 0.4 means it is sometimes a 1 mostly a 0. So the idea is garble 7 passes.) My computer is running like crap due to viruses and errors and I want to get rid of everything on it, reinstall windows XP and start over.
I need to do whatever it takes to make my computer run as smoothly as it can. What is the best way to go about this. Some people have suggested that I use FDISK but I don’t know that much about computers and its over my head. Any advise would be very help full.
I do not have the Windows XP software that came with my computer. The company I work for is letting me use there copy of XP Pro. As I understand , all I have to do is put in the Windows XP disk and go from there?
I have backed up everything I want to save. So everything on my comp can go.
